What We Do

Hospitality

We offer temporary housing to individuals and families in need. Our guests typically live with us anywhere from 1 week to 18 months, depending on their need. During that time, they become a part of our family, sharing meals, a living space, and the joys and struggles of life. Dandelion House core members support our guests in pursuing their various life goals. There is no cost for staying at our House of Hospitality.

Hot Meals

Every Friday we serve a home-cooked meal to about 120-150 of our unhoused neighbors. We believe that meals should be warm, nutritious, and celebratory. Recent meals include beef stew, turkey chili, ham & potato soup, and lasagna. Contact us to volunteer as a grocery shopper, cook, or server!

Garden

We are expanding our food garden, with the hope of growing and sharing fresh organic produce with the wider community. Love to get your hands dirty? Contact us to volunteer in the garden!

Gatherings

We gather as a community for prayer, barbecues, storytelling, and more. Sign up for our newsletter to find out about the latest events at Dandelion House.

Sacred Organizing

In collaboration with the Clackamas Land and Housing Coalition and other grassroots groups, we advocate locally for just and inclusive housing policies.

Resistance

We speak out in support of life on Earth and against violence in all forms, including nuclear weapons, guns, and fossil fuel extraction.  Want to plan an action with us?  Please reach out.
